Resumen

Copyright © 2015 (Ernesto Pérez Morán). The 'shot by shot' method is a kind of analysis of audiovisual works that has never been fully developed. It's a dissection of each of the smallest units of meaning that form an audiovisual work, whatever it is. The «shot by shot» method analyzes 22 aspects of each shot individually considered and later interconnects them and finds meanings and senses. This procedure also allows an hermeneutical approach to achieve the organic knowledge, that has been tested in complete films (Patricia Ferreira's complete filmography). No method like this allows similar understanding of cinematic elements in a film, with the advantage that there is a resultant database, which allows the future approach of different disciplines.
