N2 - One of the main uses that is given to shallow geothermal energy corresponds to the implementation of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, using the ground or groundwater as a sink or source of heat. From a bibliographic compilation, various concepts and useful methodologies were documented for the development of the preliminary stages of planning and designing a system with geothermal heat pump. A prototype of a cooling system for a computer room in the EIA University was proposed.
