Abstract

One of the main uses that is given to shallow geothermal energy corresponds to the implementation of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, using the ground or groundwater as a sink or source of heat. From a bibliographic compilation, various concepts and useful methodologies were documented for the development of the preliminary stages of planning and designing a system with geothermal heat pump. A prototype of a cooling system for a computer room in the EIA University was proposed.
