Abstract

Resources and capabilities are key issues for the survival of organizations in current contexts. This study is based on a simple case study in an innovative SME in the health sector. This article aims to map resources and capabilities according to six innovation vectors in the innovation management system. The data collection techniques were developed using a mapping instrument that measures the level of maturity and defines the technological profile of the company. The results obtained show that the development of resources and capabilities has a significant impact on the implementation of the innovation management system. Finally, the results provide new insights for the incorporation of routines in innovation activities to strengthen innovation and value creation in organizations.
