Uprisings in new granada at the dawn of independence, 1800-1810.

Son ampliamente conocidas las sublevaciones que estallaron en los territorios americanos en la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII. Para el caso neogranadino, mucho se ha dicho ya sobre la rebelión de los comuneros y durante las ultimas décadas algunos autores han centrado su atención en las sublevaciones menores.

General objectives: investigate the uprisings that erupted in new granada during the first decade of the nineteenth century analyzing the motivations, particularities, leadership, participation and ideological content which will allow to establish a comparative study between the different outbreaks of the territory.specific: identify the uprisings that broke out in new granada during the first decade of the 19th century. analyze the motives, particular connotations, social composition and leadership of each of the surveys.analyze the ideological content, underlying or explicit, of the uprisings and determine if they presented nationalist elements. establish a comparison between the uprisings that took place between 1800 and 1810 and those that broke out during the second half of the xviii.
