"this project proposes to study the primordial role of communication in the construction of sexist models and imaginaries among the students of the school of communication of the university of medellín.the language conceptualizes, forms and modulates imaginaries, recreates universes, conditions relations interpersonal and consolidates and / or deconstructs realities. "

Objective

"analyze the influence of current forms of communication in the construction of sexist models and imaginaries in the students of the school of communication through the planning and implementation of an observatory against gender violence at the university of medellin."

Expected results

"as we have indicated, this research project aims to develop an analysis of the imaginaries, the ways of thinking and their vision of life and the interpersonal relationships of the students of the faculty of communication of the udem applying a cross-gender reading in the analysis, the research focuses its study on the role and influence of communication (in its various expressions) and language as a constructive element of macho attitudes and mentalities. "
