Project Details

Description

Electromagnetic pollution is produced by electronic equipment or other elements resulting from human activity, which emit radiation exceeding the established limits. the telecommunications and electricity distribution sectors take advantage of the radio spectrum to benefit communities with different services that require the interconnection between terminal devices using guided and unguided means, the emission of waves in the different frequency ranges makes the population is under the exposure of electromagnetic radiation and the regulation of these emissions is necessary.

Objective

Generate a methodological and legal guide for the measurement and analysis of electromagnetic radiation generated by telecommunications antennas and electrical transformers located in the city of medellín.

Expected results

3 isi wos or scopus articles, accepted; participation of a research student in the generation of information for the development of the guide, an international paper and a national paper.
