The species canavalia ensiformis has been used traditionally for the control of fungi among many other environmental and medical applications, the capacity for the control of fungi has been applied as an alternative

Objective

To evaluate the potential of the canavalia einsifqrmis species for the control of the mycosphaerella fijierisis fungus that causes the black sigatoka of banana.

Expected results

A written protocol, including information on culture media, replacement times and physical conditions for maintenance and high proliferation of plant materials
