In this investigation we start with the question: what is being done within this educational institution to give way to the changes that the educational context demands in the colombian context regarding interculturality and school coexistence? that is to say, to analyze if interculturality is inserted in the educational program and as this ethno-educative center develops, also intercultural activities are not carried out in a punctual and isolated way in some subjects. in addition we start from the secondary questions:how are the teachers being trained today? what are the implications of the implementation of intercultural and ethnic pedagogies as tools for the eradication of racism and racial discrimination against children of african descent in education? through intercultural and ethnic pedagogies in education can teachers re-position knowledge and social, cultural, linguistic practices as valid and significant knowledge in teaching and learning? how to position pedagogical ethno-educational perspectives in the education scenarios, as well as in the training of teachers? instruments: for the exercise of inquiry and analysis will be implemented tools for research as direct observation, interviews with teachers, the direction of the educational establishment.but we will also apply visual anthropology as a participatory means of research within the educational establishment for our analysis.
Objective
Analyze the educational programs and experiences with respect to interculturality, and school coexistence, of the professors and students of the mestizo, indigenous and afro-chocoano educational institution mia through a case study in this ei this research has the purpose of analyzing starting of a sample with students and professors of the mia institution in quibdó-choco in colombia, identifying the didactic methods and strategies used by teachers that reflect the intercultural approach also included in the principles of ethno-education and in the chair of afro-colombian studies and of the activities and pedagogies applied by the teachers.
Expected results
2 article isi wos or scopus, accepted. photographic exhibition 1 paper the mestiza, indigenous and afro educational institution (mia), presents an innovative educational model in terms of intercultural thinking, and its purpose is to generate school coexistence regardless of ethnicity or cultural difference. research, in as much as it seeks to highlight intercultural thinking, strengthens our research in the sense of offering alternatives to the country's educational curricula. developments in the colombian educational community. teachers, managers and students of the primary and secondary school and university educational community
