Design of a new measurement system for the monitoring and control of sustainability performance in the case of hydroelectric power generation of isagen - colciencias

Project Details

Description

The performance of hydroelectric sustainability is currently monitored through internationally standardized strategic measurement systems, such as the global reporting initiative and the sustainability protocol of the international hydropower association. it is observed that these strategic systems privilege the perception of experts and have difficulties to adjust to the operational needs of the company and local specificities. the objective of this research is to build a system of participatory, representative and complementary measurement of the standards, through the case study of the company isagen, in order to provide an instrument for the monitoring and control of the sustainability of hydroelectric plants in operation.
