Organization profile

Value proposition:

Develops biotechnological processes and products to improve agro-industrial productivity, through the massive propagation of plant species, the development of biopesticides that control the effects of pests, diseases and biofertilizers that accelerate plant growth. In addition, it develops technologies that allow the closure of production processes to mitigate environmental impacts, generating high value-added products.

Products and services:

Application of classic micropropagation and somatic embryogenesis strategies to carry out cloning processes of highly productive elite varieties with resistance to pests and diseases tolerant to abiotic stress phenomena such as salinity and heavy metal contamination.
Development of soil-conditioning bioformulates that contribute to plant nutrition, development and protection based on mycorrhizants, growth promoters and microorganisms that protect plants from pests and diseases and biofertilizers that contribute to the solubilization of phosphorus and potassium and the fixation of nitrogen.
Development of biopesticides based on microorganisms and extracts prepared with plants and microbial bioactives that can be used to control pests and diseases that affect agricultural and forestry productivity.
Design of strategies that allow the use of microalgae for the capture of CO2, the use of wastewater and solid waste from companies to obtain energy and products with high commercial value.
